Today I’m sharing a review of the popular Oak + Fort 5064 Cropped Cardigan. This sweater is one I had on my list of pieces to try out since last fall, but I waited until it got colder to purchase them. I’m happy to report they’re a favorite in my closet and get worn almost weekly! Keep reading to see a full review.
Oak + Fort 5064 Cropped Cardigan Review
Basic Info:
- $98 USD
- One size
- Wool-blend
- 2 colors – beige and cream
Materials & Care:
This cardigan is a wool-blend. I personally don’t wash my sweaters unless they have a stain that needs to be treated. Even then, I’ll hand wash! I like to preserve their shape by limiting the wash wear. As far as this material goes, it doesn’t seem like something that would hold up long term like my Babaá sweater would.
Fit/Sizing:
I do love the style of this sweater and I love how soft the material is, however, I wish they’d made it in more sizes.
This sweater is cropped… and it’s pretty short. I am 5’7″, and I can’t wear it unless I’m wearing super high-waisted jeans or my leggings. Even then, I can’t lift my arms up. While I love the fit and love the style, overall, I do wish that it was a bit longer.
Notable Mentions:
Like I mentioned above, the sweater lays really nicely other than being super short. I love the soft material, and it is very warm. I love that it’s nursing friendly (with the buttons). Overall, it isn’t a bad purchase. You can wear this open with a tee or tank top, unbuttoned half way and off-the-shoulder, OR you can wear it all the way buttoned-up like I have in these photos. It’s versatile, and I love the neutral colors. I just wish it were a big longer and came in more diverse sizing!
