I’ve been making this play dough for my daughter’s for almost two years. I love that it’s food-based, and safe for little hands and sensitive skin! Keep reading to see how to make my favorite, natural homemade play dough recipe!
Natural Homemade Play Dough Recipe
If you have toddlers, you know that they have a everything in the mouth phase that’s extremely stressful! This play dough is natural and food-based, and I don’t use any dyes either! I keep it extremely simple. The best part? I only make it about once a year. Yep! As long as you keep it sealed it lasts forever!
-2 cups salt
-2 cups flour
-1 cup cornstarch
-2 cups water
-4 tablespoon cream of tartar
-2 tablespoons oil
How to make it:
01. Combine all ingredients in a saucepan over medium-low heat.
02. Stir continuously until it forms into a ball. Turn stove off.
03. Once it’s cooled, separate into 8 separate balls.
04. Store each one in an air-tight container (I use round pyrex dishes).
