With Valentine’s Day near, I’m noticing a common theme. Sales on this LBD. Sales on a LRD. But how many times will you wear that little red dress? Chances are… not many! I shared a little bit about my journey into slow fashion last year, and I share a lot via my style session series. But today I want to do two things. I want to introduce you to a slow fashion brand I love that is making big waves in the fashion world, and I want to share some Valentine’s Day-inspired looks with you. Keep reading to see more!

Emlee Design Thea Top Review

Reasons to Love the Emlee Design

My goal is for you to see these and try to recreate these simple, stylish outfits with what you have in your closet! However, if you notice that after the review of today’s garment (a really versatile top!) that it’s something that may fill a hole in your wardrobe, then by all means, grab one! I personally have fallen hard for this brand. Emlee Design is a Nashville-based company run by Emily Herron. Her goal is to produce thoughtfully designed and eco-friendly apparel for women. Her multi-use garments are made from natural fabrics like linen and organic cotton. I am very happy to see sizes up to 3XL on the top I’m reviewing today! Inclusivity is so important in everything fashion, but especially in the slow fashion world!

So here’s the deal. Why multi-use garments? Well, you’re much more likely to get a ton of use out of it! Fast fashion brands don’t want you to buy one garment to wear multiple ways. They want you to consume several garments that serve one purpose. It is my experience in the slow fashion world, that these designers truly care about their environmental footprint, and how well these garments will serve us….the consumers! I love that this top by Emlee Design is extremely versatile. I styled four outfits with the same top, and honestly, I probably could have styled seven more. I’m honestly in love.

The Thea Top Details

Materials: This amazing multi-use top is made of 55% hemp and 45% organic cotton. It’s extremely soft, and doesn’t seem to wrinkle when I toss it on my closet floor after I wear it. Win!

Colors: The Thea Top comes in two colors. I am wearing both in this post. The darker colored one is ‘Coffee’ (a name I can get behind) and the lighter is ‘Ivory’.

Sizing: The Thea top comes in sizes XS – 3XL.

Summer/Spring version: Did I mention this top comes in a tank version for Spring or Summer? Love!

Nursing moms: Oh, and I almost forgot. THIS TOP IS EXTREMELY NURSING-FRIENDLY! Yep. Nursing moms who want to look cute and stylish for work, at home, or out on the weekend. You might need to add this top to your wish list!
