I’m super excited to be here chatting about something all pregnant girls love. Leggings! I can’t tell you how many pairs of maternity leggings I own now. I’ve found that there are brands I like more than others, and styles that work better for the first trimester than the third. So keep reading if you’re newly pregnant, or desperate to find a pair of the best maternity leggings!
The Best Maternity Leggings
1 // The Everyday Maternity Legging
These leggings probably get worn the most out of the ones I own. I love them because they’re seamless, and you can wrap them under the belly in the first trimester, and over the belly in the second and third trimesters. They’re super comfy and stretchy.
Fit: I sized up one size in these.
2 // The ‘Active’ Overbelly, Crossover Panel Maternity Legging
These leggings are technically “active” leggings, but I wear them with everything! The crossover panel in the back actually provides lower back support (which is amazing!) I’ve been wearing them since the second trimester and into the third.
Fit: I sized up one to two sizes in these ones.
3 // Moto Maternity Legging With Overbelly Crossover Panel
I looooove a good moto legging, and just because I’m pregnant doesn’t mean I shouldn’t be able to rock them, right? Love that Ingrid & Isabel has this option for pregnant mamas who want to feel edgy too! I rock these with my leather jacket. I got them in the second trimester, and will certainly wear them into the third.
Fit: These are true to size.
4 // Underbelly Panel Everyday Maternity Legging
The amazing first trimester legging! I have had these leggings since I was around twelve weeks pregnant. I showed a lot sooner this time than I did with Grace, and these babies were my saving Grace. I’m wearing them now, actually. Haha. The best part? They’re only $19.99.
I own these in two sizes. I bought the extra small when my belly was a bit smaller, but as it grew, I felt I needed a bigger size, so now I have the small. I may buy a medium too before I have this baby. These would make great postpartum leggings, (although they’d all make amazing postpartum leggings, if I’m being honest.)
Fit: true to size, maybe go down a size? They have a great amount of stretch.
5 // Budget-Friendly Moto Maternity Legging With Overbelly Crossover Panel
Looking for some moto leggings on a budget? These ones are under $40. I bought them in my first trimester, but didn’t reallllyyyyy need them until my second. They’ve been great for the third trimester too! Remember that crossover panel in the back I mentioned earlier? These have that too!
Fit: True to size.
6 // Active Maternity Legging
These have been a lifesaver for prenatal yoga class! I love the color (I have them in this color and black) and love that I’ll be able to wear them when I’m not pregnant too (by just folding the top crossover panel down). The stretch is amazing too, which is needed for yoga, or pretty much any activity as a pregnant lady, right? haha.
Fit: True to size.
