It’s no secret that I’m a juice fiend. There’s something about a freshly blended  juice in a mason jar that helps wake me up in the morning. The sweetness of carrot + apple combined with the bite that the ginger gives is a better zing than a cup of coffee. (Yes, I said it.)

The truth is, I feel better when I drink juice. I also feel better when I eat healthier. Eating a vegan diet for over a year has completely changed the way I view food. I crave healthy items like legumes, nuts, and fresh fruits and veggies. I do get my fair share of sweets, but I’ve become a master at finding delicious and healthy options for sweets too. Smoothies and juice are my go-to for that.

I’m happy to share a new food delivery service with you called GreenBlender. They deliver smoothie ingredients, pre-measured to your door! As much as I love a good Farmer’s Market trip, sometimes I barely make it out of the house. It’s nice to have these ingredients handy when I need to find some quick sustenance for Grace and I. As you know, I’ve been utilizing my Vitamix quite a bit these days, so I love being able to pull these out and use the recipe card to whip it up in my favorite Ascent 2300 blender.

Fresh Carrot, Apple, and Ginger Juice

  • 1 carrot, peeled
  • 1 apple, cored
  • 1 piece of ginger, peeled
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup of ice

*This recipe is straight from the GreenBlender recipe card!

Vitamix and GreenBlender make it so easy for you. All you do is throw everything into the blender and blend until you reach the desired consistency. Some prefer their smoothies and juices to be thicker, while others like them to be pretty thin. It’s not one size fits all 😉

Thinking about grabbing a Vitamix of your own? You definitely should.

For a limited time, if you purchase any qualifying blender and you’ll receive a free Vitamix Starter Kit with fresh, pre-portioned ingredients for five popular Vitamix recipes (valued at $49)!

Thank you so much for reading!
