Hi ladies! Thank you for visiting Living in Color today! I’m sharing what I wore on Easter, and also some tricks for styling a button-up blouse! Button-ups are super versatile and one of the items I keep in my closet year round! (Unless it’s plaid – plaid only comes out to play in Fall/Winter!)
I feel like I’ve heard more than one woman say “I feel like blouses are so baggy on me” or they “mae me look like a lumberjack” when referring to button-up tops, so be sure to keep reading for some innovative, unique ideas on styling those button-ups!

This outfit above was super easy! I obviously chose the skirt, then buttoned the blouse down until I wanted to make a knot (tip: don’t button it all the way! Leave the last 2-3 buttons undone so you can take both ends and tie them) and I just tied it at my natural waist! At times, I had some skin showing since it was a skirt, but I’ve also done this with dresses! The yellow skirted outfits below are actually dresses worn as skirts. Sneaky, right?
I hope this post gave you a few ideas on how to style a button-up! Like I said they’re super versatile! Have a lovely rest of your day, and thank you so much for reading!
