We celebrated our first wedding anniversary this past weekend.  It was the absolute happiest day of my life, and to be honest, last year I didn’t share it on the blog.  I won’t get into the specific reasons that I chose not to share it, but we’ll just say it’s because I have to keep a lot of things very private for my own safety and security. However, after spending five days in the very place we got married 365 days ago, I couldn’t help but go through every single photo and relive the happiest most cherished moments of my life thus far.  Then I realized that I just have to share it with you.  I want you to experience the joy and love I felt on this day- plus it’s wedding season, so I’m sure some of you guys may enjoy a few sappy wedding posts.  It’s been a whirlwind year but marriage is such a fantastic journey and I look forward to many more years to come.
My dress is a Justin Alexander gown from Mon Amie bridal salon in Orange County.  You won’t believe it, but it’s the very first gown I tried on.  I knew it was “the one”.  To be honest, the whole planning experience was an absolute dream.  I am told that I was a very easy going bride- we wanted the feel of the wedding to be very relaxed and I feel like that was definitely reflected on the big day.
Keep reading after the break to view a few more pictures of our wedding day!

I hope you enjoyed some of our wedding day portraits!  I plan to share two more posts on our wedding day later this week.  The next one will be photos of our wedding colors, ocean ceremony on the sand, and bridal party. The other will feature photos from our ocean view reception!  Thank you so much for reading!
