This outfit is from last weekend in the desert, and let me tell you- it was super hot…I was literally melting.  However, in my opinion, there isn’t a better location to photograph this flowy, lacy dress.  For pieces like this, it’s best to go minimalist, so I chose some brown accessories, (including that awesome camera bag I scored while thrifting) and a brown belt with my sparkly Target sandals.  I have been wearing these strappy sandals almost every day- they are super comfortable and an awesomely affordable version of the Dolce Vita ones I spotted at Nordstrom.  I have also paired this dress with a chambray shirt before and used the belt to add a little more shape to the outfit, but the heat does not lend itself to wearing more than one layer!
Remember, GFC is disappearing as of July 1st, don’t miss out on all of the fun- you can follow me on Bloglovin’, Twitteror Facebook! Thank you so much for reading! Have a great Wednesday!

  1. Love your lace dress. And it fits perfectly with the scenery of your pictures. I love lace for spring.

  2. Such a cute and girly look! Love how you kept the accessories to a minimum to let the dress shine. Also love that that brown bag is a camera bag, super cool.

  3. Not bad. You have three parts of attraction. Your braid, the belt and the sandals supplement each other and are in the best harmony (the size, the colour, grace and elegancy). The dress is perfect (the sise and lenght make a person's immegination work),the colour is in harmony with the suntan and blond hair. The brown accessories, (a camera bag)adds the feeling of travelling in the nature- without it the picture would be incomplete. The lack of a watch is nice, creates a feeling of timeless and happiness. Try a new image: lond evening dresses,a very simple chints dress, Indian calico, an office wear. In home made video show before hand planned movement and script or scenario.

  4. You look stunning, Elle!

It does look pretty hot in the pictures which I am super JEL of by the way. The weather is rubbish in the UK at the moment 馃檨

Nonetheless, the backdrop of the photo is fantastic. Would love to have my outfit photos taken somewhere away from the public, hate it when they stare you down in the street, haha!
