Want to know a secret? I’ve been trying to shop my own closet more instead of wanting to buy every item I adore… But that isn’t the secret.  My secret is that I am really wearing this adorable navy pleated dress as a skirt.  A fun, creative way to incorporate your summer/spring wardrobe into fall and winter is to layer layer layer.  With this long sleeved blouse from Old Navy, and my LC blazer over this dress, it was transformed into a pleated wonder of a skirt. Some fun fashion 101. Hope you had a wonderful Wednesday!

XOXO.

  1. Love the blue colors on you! Thats a pretty juicy secret you have there, wearing the dress as a skirt! I try to do that but usually I turn out looking frumpy, while you look chic and put together!

  2. Cute outfit. So bright and fresh.

I need to shop my own closet too. That and start getting rid of my old clothes. What do you do with the clothes you don't want? I don't know whether to just throw them away, donate them, or sell it to a thrift shop. But I don't really know how thrift stores work. Sorry I am off topic.

    I now a new follower.

    1. you are not off topic! honestly, I went through my close before fall started.. and it felt so good to get rid of stuff! I sold some of it to places like Crossroads, or Plato's closet. The things that those stores weren't able to buy back, I then donated them to Goodwill! I would much rather have people wearing them that need them, than have all of those clothes sitting in my closet 🙂 hope that helps!

and thanks so much for following my blog, love <3

      xoxo,
